In addition to planning permission (and Listed Building consents) Neil has an interest in the way our industrial past shapes today's places. Neil has worked on a number of projects big and small where heritage has been centre of the case. Appeals for a Listed flat conversion or to erect flag poles and advertisements are interesting.
Neil presented a case, with the support of other associates, to persuade Dundee City Council to examine the fortunes of Blackness Industrial Area, Dundee. Right on the edge of the University Campuses and walking distance of the Waterfront development.
