Development Plans / Promotion
Neil has worked with housebuilders, retailers, landowners and other businesses to examine development plan policy. At the right time, various submissions can be made in stages to planning authorities to effect future area plan change. These sometimes result in new proposals "allocations" for the longer term providing more certainty. It lets the wider community know what's going on in their area. Neil has enabled allocations for new homes in towns, and expansions on their edges and changes of designation for underperforming industrial or other commercial uses across Scotland.
