The Scottish Government encourages applicants to justify their projects to evidence and demonstrate net economic benefit of a proposal. How many jobs, additional income, effect on the existing economy and secondary benefits as a result of the new project.

Since the Pandemic, we have supported nearly 100 clients in the Short Term Letting business in Scotland affected by tighter planning and licencing controls mainly in City of Edinburgh, Fife, East Lothian and Cairngorms where the pressures to accommodate visitor demand conflicts with policy to protect residential properties and local residential neighbourhoods.
