Change of use proposals can be challenging to persuade Councils that the new use will not impact adversely on the exisitng or is compatible.
The uses must be assessed against legal and regulatory classifications - its a complex area for short term holiday let proposals, new shops (when are they really a 'shop?') and for business uses which are not traditionally associated with industrial estates like brewery tap rooms, child play barns, wedding venues!
